I've been doing a lot of preparation for Ryder's third grade. An overall theme for the year will be habitat. Farming is part of that so I started reading some wonderful books to bring to our learning.
Vicki Robin wrote a lovely book called "Blessing The Hands That Feed US: What Eating Closer to Home Can Teach Us About Food, Community, and Our Place on Earth". An inspiration, a source of wisdom and a how to manual.
