MENUS AND MEALS

NEW Menu for 2014

I've been wanting to log our daily and weekly meal/menus as I have gotten into the bad habit of whipping something up that is "the best ever" and have no idea exactly how I did it. Since I've been the chef and cook in our home and because we also have significant "allergies" (we don't eat gluten, anything artificial or from a box/can/processed into something unrecognizable to our ancestors) I have learned and experimented for so many years I can pretty much take anything (God/Mother Earth Made) and make something wonderful to feed our bodies and minds.

If it were just me I would be 100% raw (not vegan). I have never thrived as well as when I was completely raw for nearly a month. However, it's not feasible with growing bodies no matter the band wagons out there . With that said, I don't follow any particular "diet", idea or notion regarding this topic except it be whole and as close to nature made as possible (local, organic, NON GMO*should be a given but it looks like I have to say this now and of course Gluten Free *due to Celiac)

THURSDAY: During TRIBAL time.
Boys had Clean* Bacon and Organic Free Range Eggs. Local Honey and Almond butter, peppermint tea with 3 types of honey (due to our study of bees and bee hives today).

Organic Cherries *about 2 cups, 1 pound organic spinach and 2 organic pears(would leave out but they needed to be used) with water to make it's consistency for a smoothie (I added fulvic acid for higher mineral content)

Spiced Pear (have lots of local pears and they need to be used) Cake and Muffins.
