But our local library happens to have a wonderful reading program/book club called Reading Rangers. The Friends of the Library actually purchase new books for the kids every month (we then donate them back to the library project).
This month the boys read "Guinea Dog" and all the children made Guinea pig homes during the book club.
Super fun gals run the program and they enjoy the kids very much. Dax and Ryder were VERY outspoken this time because they actually HAVE real guinea pigs. (I highly recommend them for children over hamsters or gerbils for sure.
