Spring and Green

I adore being with my boys as every moment is a new adventure. It recently dawned on me, the difference in learning styles of each of the boys. Ryder seems to naturally soak up facts and information, he learns quickly. From language, to just about anything. Dax on the other hand (now he's only 4 but having Ryder as a precedent might have set me up for undo expectations I must now let go) Dax is a natural "creative", an explorer. But he hates to be told how or why or what he should do - Gulp, does that sound like someone I know (me).

I haven't been on this blog in a time due to the fact I chose to commit to being off the computer/off line during the day and only do computer work at night - thus spending the majority of my time in living and learning with the boys - in nature, in life skills, in learning from our surroundings. At the end of the year 2012 I felt I had become too dependent on forums, other blogs, and FB to be in touch and such.

Now I think I will recommit to updating our  "blog" at least once a week - as it is an effective and easy way to journal, log our progress and stay in touch all at once.
